Plant

This new work is inspired by the idea of passing. Passing this small yet significant island situated on Derryclare in the centre of Connemara. Colloquially called Plant Island or Pine Island, thousands and thousands of images are made of this place day in, day out by holiday makers. The island has always been represented by a common approach. This work explores the idea of looking even more closely at the sights we see every day and here Lorraine explores the interior of the island.
